Kids in my neighborhood

According to a survey, more and more kids in large Chinese cities are “experiencing joyless childhood” due to “ever-increasing pressure by their parents to study hard.” Kids in China don’t have  time for fun because they are preoccupied with endless homework.

Unlike Chinese children who are too busy for playtime, their U.S. counterparts here are much more fortunate. A few days ago, when I came back home, I saw a bunch of kids have fun outside of my apartment. They looked so carefree and relaxed. From their facial expressions and body gestures, you could see they did not worry about homework at all.

This inspired the first video story I produced with GoPro Camera and edited with GoPro Studio. The story would have been better if I had a shorter piece and if used the poem as an introduction.
