In 1986, about 40 students slept on the wet floor of a crowded high school dormitory because their families could not afford to beds and mattresses. They slept on the wet floor every night for three years. Twenty seven years after graduation, one of them flew back to his alma mater from the United States. He was going to accept Outstanding Alumni Award certificate and deliver a speech on his journalistic and academic achievements.
No pain, no gain. It’s true.
